Ben Affleck is kicking off his whirlwind promotion of the new Batman Vs. Superman flick this week. At the premiere in New York City last night he talked a bit about the mother of his children, Jennifer Garner, and also shared whether Samuel will get to see his new movie. On parenting he tells E!: “You know, I just marvel at my mother who did a great job of raising my brother and I. Parenting is hard work but it’s so rewarding and I certainly do my best. Jen is a superhero mom. She is an amazing mother and I’m really lucky to have her as a partner to co-parent these kids with. We try our best, we put them first and that’s what we do.” Aw, I love that these two are being so good to each other in the press, it’s refreshing!
On Samuel, 4, being able to see his new movie, probably not. “Well, he can see some of it. I don’t know… It just depends. Every kid is different. Like I don’t know if he would be scared seeing me, like if he would think it was really me getting thrown around and crashed and hurt. I don’t know if he could know the difference. So, we’ll see. I’ll warm him up. In time. When he learns to differentiate between the fact that it’s not, that I’m not really getting beat up on camera. It’s pretend, you know.”
