Susan Sarandon is going to be a grandma for the first time when her daughter Eva Amurri Martino welcomes her first child this year. The actress is hoping to persuade her grandbaby to use a different name – anything other than grandma. Actually not just anything – she’s hoping for “honey”.
She explained, “I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who’s from the South, and his grandma was ‘Honey,’ that’s what I’m experimenting with, and Eva likes it, so we’ll see.” Susan won’t have to worry about conflicting with the names that her son in law’s parents are called. “I think it’s good because this is [Kyle’s parents’] seventh grandchild, so they’ve established what his parents are called.”
What do your kids call their grandparents?
