In a new interview actress Jordana Brewster dishes on life as a new mom to Julian. She shared that she’s trying hard to balance her work on “Dallas” with being a first time mom. Jordana also explained why she is now a hypochondriac.
On balancing baby and career: “I’m on the best show because it’s an ensemble, and luckily, I don’t have to work 24/7 every day. So it’s really a blessing to be on a show like ‘Dallas.’ … I’m such a nerd, especially now that I have a baby. I’m in bed by, like, 9 p.m. I’m not kidding. By 7, when I’m getting my makeup done, I need to get the energy up. I usually need an espresso shot.”
On why she doesn’t take her 6-month-old son, Julian, on set: “I didn’t realize I’d be such a hypochondriac as a mom. It’s flu season in Texas, so I haven’t taken him out that much on set. But we’ve been traveling back and forth a lot. He’s a really good traveler.”
On the most surprising thing about motherhood: “At every age you’re like, ‘This is the best age! No, this is the best age.’ But now this is my favorite age, of course, because he’s responding so much.”
