Product Recall: K2 Sports Scooters Due To Fall Hazard


K2 Sports is recalling 400 of its K2 Revo Kick kickboards/scooters due to a fall hazard.   The front assembly of the kickboards/scooters can break and the handle can detach or partially detach, causing loss of control or loss of balance. This defect poses a fall hazard to the rider.

No injuries have been reported, but the company is offering full refunds to customers.

The scooters were sold at sporting goods stores and online at from March of 2010 until September of 2013.  The scooters retailed for $200.
