Prince William (aka Duke of Cambridge) is opening up to CNN about life with the royal baby, Prince George. In his first sit down interview, the new dad says that Prince George reminds him a bit of Prince Harry or himself as a youngster.
William shared, “He’s a little bit of a rascal, I’ll put it that way, so he either reminds reminds me of my brother [Prince Harry] or me when I was younger, I’m not sure.”
The Duke of Cambridge also shared that their dog is handling the new addition the best he can. “Catherine is very well, [and the dog] Lupo is coping … He’s been slobbering around the house a lot, so he’s happy.”
He opened up about the worldwide excitement over Prince George and introducing him to the public. “I was on such a high about George, and so was Catherine. We were anxious to show him off. It’s not somewhere I enjoy being, but I know the position I’m in [and] it’s nice people wanted to see George. It was good he wasn’t screaming.”
The humble royal also shared his and Catherine’s nontraditional approach to parenting and royal duties, “If I can do it myself, I’ll do it myself. I’m as independent as I want to be. I don’t like fuss.”
