Actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum just gave birth to her daughter Everly two months ago and is back to work on her new project “The Witches of East End”. While promoting her project, she shared what motherhood has been like so far and how she’s juggling her career and family.
Jenna shared that it hasn’t been easy, “It’s hard. It definitely is a challenge. I’m finding I’m getting more in the flow of things now. It’s about switching the brain like, “OK, now I’m mom, now I’m the actress” and then jumping into character and then coming back and breast feeding. It’s a juggle, but I kind of feel like every mom who goes back to work feels this.”
The new mom tries to explain how having Everly has changed things, “Everyone can tell you certain things about motherhood and say it’ll change your life but it’s really a transformative moment that naturally changes everything. For me, everything feels different, everything matters more, every action I take, I think of her first.”
Will she and Channing Tatum have more kids? “Oh god, I don’t know. I need to get a little more into my motherhood before I can think about another kid right now. I was an only child growing up and I used to always say I wish I had brothers and sisters, so I would definitely like to do that at some point.”
