Why They Didn’t Sell Their Daughter’s First Photos

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed their daughter Everly at the end of May and released her first photo on Father’s Day via Channing’s Facebook page.  Channing shared why they decided to go that route instead of the big magazine spread to have more control over the situation.

Channing shares, “We didn’t want to go through a tabloid — we just wanted to let it out so paparazzi would stop trying to hound us. You know, here it is, that’s it. Now, let us be.”

The doting dad says he’s trying to help his exhausted wife in any way he can.  “[Jenna’s] tired. Those first few months, it’s just ridiculous, just [taxing]. All I can really do is just sit there and change diapers … and get them food. Whatever they want.”

A lot of celebrities have chosen to share their baby photos via Twitter and Facebook instead of going with a magazine photoshoot.  Do you like this new trend?
