Approximately 5,000 pairs of girls’ Cha Cha and Cha Cha 2 boots by Stuart Weitzman are being recalled today. The reason for the recall is that the “SW” zipper pulls on the boots can become entangled posing a fall hazard.
There have been 3 reports of the pulls becoming entangled. In one incident, a child attempt to bend down and untangle the pulls, but lost her balance and hit her head on the sidewalk, causing a cut that needed stitches.
The boots included in the recall are the Stuart Weitzman brand Cha Cha and Cha Cha 2 boots that were sold in black or white vinyl in sizes 13 through 5. The model name and size is printed on a white tag inside the top of the boots.
