It looks like Drew Barrymore wants to be the type of mother she never had during her own childhood. The Hollywood star, who has a four-month old daughter, Olive, with her husband Will Kopelman, says that she sees Judaism as a “beautiful faith” and loves the fact that is is so family-oriented. Here’s what she said on The View last Friday:
“He’s a nice Jewish man from a nice Jewish family. “I’m a shiksa [gentile]. I do the seders and we do Passover. I haven’t converted yet, but Olive will be raised traditionally.”
She added:
“It’s so family-oriented. The stories are so beautiful and it’s incredibly enlightening. I’m really happy.”
