Kristin Cavallari Talks Breastfeeding

Chinese Laundry By Kristin Cavallari Launch

New mom Kristin Cavallari opens up about the difficulties of breastfeeding. The mom of six-month-old Camden Jack says that she just couldn’t carry on and switched her little guy to a new “concoction”.

Kristin shared with Hollywood Life that she felt like a slave to pumping and gave it up.  “It’s hard. It was the hardest part of the whole thing and no one tells you that. I was a slave to pumping. Now we are giving him a goat milk concoction that Jay found.”

On her post-baby figure she shared, “I gained 25 lbs when I got pregnant but I’m a healthy eater. I worked out during my pregnancy and I was breast feeding, until a few weeks ago.”

Some were criticizing Kristin for the decision to stop, but I appreciate her honesty. It’s not for everyone and she didn’t have to discuss such a personal thing publicly to begin with.

Beyonce Knowles Shares Her Heartbreak Over Miscarriage

Beyonce's Pulse Fragrance Launch At Macy's

In Beyonce’s new HBO documentary “Life Is But a Dream”, she opens up for the first time about the devastation she experienced after a miscarriage before the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, 13 months.

The celebrity mom shared, “About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time. And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life.  I picked out names.  I envisioned what my child would look like . . . I was feeling very maternal.”

Beyonce shares that things took a turn for the worse very early in the pregnancy.  “I flew back to New York to get my check up — and no heartbeat.  Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat.”

The loss drove her to deal with it the only way she knows how, through her music.  “I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I’ve ever written in my life.  And it was actually the first song I wrote for my album. And it was the best form of therapy for me, because it was the saddest thing I’ve ever been through.”

Drew Barrymore Dishes On Motherhood, Makeup And More In Harper’s Bazaar

HBZ March Newsstand Cover

For the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, new mom Drew Barrymore opened up about keeping Olive’s childhood as normal a possible, her new makeup line and more!

Drew shared that when she found out she was pregnant, she immediately wanted to find ways to make a fulfilling living without sitting in a trailer on a movie set.  She decided on makeup and wine!  “I didn’t feel I could do a lot with fashion because I wear sweatpants that I find on the floor.  I live for makeup and I like wine. These are my truths!”

On keeping the details of her daughter’s birth under wraps: “I definitely needed some time. For a solid six weeks, I was hiding like the Unabomber.  Because I live my life in the public eye, I didn’t want that for her.”  Drew says she realized, “unless I move into a bunker underground, I don’t have a choice in this matter. It was something that took me weeks to cope with.”

On Olive being born into a famous life, “I know she didn’t sign up for that.  I had such an exposed childhood.  I appreciate my journey, but I don’t want that for my kid. Not any of it. It has nothing to do with whether I liked my childhood. I really did. But as a parent, that isn’t the childhood that I’d provide.”

On keeping a fresh approach for her makeup line, Flower.  “Nobody’s in gold rain or running through a jungle with their lipstick on.  It was just me and some great music on a white background. That’s every girl, in her closet getting ready.”

Sportspower Trampoline Recall Expanded! Sold Exclusively At Walmart

Back in May, 2012, Sportspower recalled about 90,000 trampolines because of a defect with the netting.   Today they are expanding that recall to include a total of 120,000 units.

The brown tetlon netting once thought to be the only culprit, is now expanded to include the black tetlon netting.  This involves Sportspower BouncePro 14′ Trampolines with model TR-1686-TPR.   ‘Sportspower BouncePro 14’ is printed on a plate on the leg of the trampoline frame. The trampolines are surrounded by enclosure netting on the perimeter of the trampoline measuring approximately 6 feet high. The netting is designed to contain individuals bouncing on the trampoline.

Sportspower has received reports of nine more incidents of the enclosure netting breaking since the May 2012 recall. There have been five reports of injuries including broken bones, back and neck injuries.

Customers should stop using the trampoline and contact the company to receive replacement netting.

The trampolines were sold exclusively through Walmart.

This isn’t the first time Sportspower has faced recalls – another model of trampoline as well as their water slides were also recalled recently.
