Julie Bowen plays the role of the sarcastically hilarious mom Claire Dunphy on the hit show Modern Family. Julie’s real life personality is just as funny and snarky as her character. The mom of three boys, Oliver, 5, and twins Gus and John, 3, she flexes that sassy side in a new interview with Boston Common.
On her boys: “The boys are finally at an age where I find them to be so luscious and fantastic that I don’t want to be away if I don’t have to be. We all love each other. And at least two or three times a week they wish I would just jump off a cliff, and sometimes the feeling is mutual. Most of the time they’re outside playing in the pool and swimming and running around. We’re hyperactive around here.”
