When is the royal baby due, you ask? A close friend of the Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton, aka Catherine) dishes the details on Kate’s pregnancy!
Jessica Hay shared that the couple is expecting the pitter patter of royal baby feet next July. “She’s due in July, which is a month full of significance for William. His mother, Diana, was born on July 1, and his parents got married on July 29.”
Jessica also gave some inside info on the royal couple’s reaction to the baby news, “They cried with joy when they found out she was pregnant. Catherine’s been steadily putting weight on since April this year and hasn’t been drinking for a good few months — they’ve been preparing all summer. It was decided that they’d try at the tail-end of the royal tour in September, and that’s when it happened!”
The media attention surrounding poor Kate is going to be beyond frenzied. I’m sure William is excited but on edge, especially after all that happened with Princess Diana and the paparazzi. Hopefully the media will allow them some breathing room and to enjoy this pregnancy without all of the stress of prying eyes.
