Talk about a hefty payout! It’s been revealed that Tom Cruise will be paying ex-wife Katie Holmes $33,000 a month in child support for their daughter Suri Cruise, or about $400,000 a year until she turns 18 years of age. But, while the sum does seem rather generous, Katie will not be receiving any spousal support from the mega-Hollywood star.
The settlement came just two months after Katie sensationally lodged the legal papers to end their five-year marriage. Citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ for the split, the actress requested sole legal custody and ‘primary residential custody’ of Suri.
What do you think? Is $33,000 enough to cover all of Suri’s extravagant expenses (like Gymnastics classes?). I’m sure it would do for just about anybody, right?
