Former chart topper-turned-reality television host Christina Milian says it’s not easy being a single mom and that’s why she would like her 2-year-old daughter Violet have a father figure in her life. The songstress and celebrity mom, who divorced Violet’s biological father The Dream while she was 5-months-old, explains:
”I really would like for her to have a father in her life. I’ve come to the realization that I have to be a 150 – 200 percent mom for her. It’s not about finances. No, it’s about spending time.”
“All I care about is my daughter. When it comes to the case of parenting and having another parent, I really would like for her to have a father in her life. And I wasn’t really happy at the moment and I’m still not in the best case (scenario). I’m not one of those parents or mothers who say, ‘Oh you can’t spend time,’ or be that way with a baby daddy and try to withhold their children and use that against them… My daughter is a great kid and she has a lot of love around her and some day she is going to have a man in her life that loves her the way I do.”
