For several weeks last summer, we saw Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri hanging out in Miami while Tom Cruise filmed “Rock of Ages”. The movie is debuting this week and Tom shares how strange it was for Suri to see him dressed up in his rockstar garb.
Tom tells Ryan Seacrest:
“When I had the eyeliner and the painted nails, [Suri] was a little taken aback by it. She was like, ‘What’s happening to my dad?’ ”
He says that her visit to the set of ‘Rock of Ages’ was different from his other action movies like ‘Mission: Impossible’, etc.
“I joke with friends because she goes to [mom Katie Holmes's] sets and there’s hair and makeup and they’re very nice. Suri comes to my sets and she’s got to wear a hard helmet. There are explosions going off. Dad is bloody. He’s bruised.”
“When she shows up on [that] set, she really likes the singing. And here I am with black nail polish and eyeliner. She kind of takes it all in. It’s cool.”
