She might be one of the biggest celebrities in the world, but it looks like Madonna goes through the same struggles in motherhood just like the rest of us. Madonna opens up in an interview on the Today Show, where she reveals how shocked she was to find out that her daughter, 15-year-old Lourdes Leon was caught smoking a cigarette by the paparazzi.
In the interview, she also talks about her struggle in balancing her career with motherhood and her life as a single mom of four children. She also says she needs to be more “tough” on her daughter Lourdes, especially when it comes to her smoking. She says:
”(I) wasn’t very happy, but honestly, I don’t think I’m as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher. It’s hard — every day is a negotiation. But cigarette smoking I’m not very fond of — for anyone – especially my daughter.”
