Jenny McCarthy is set to host the new dating competition Love in the Wild (premieres on June 7). She opens up to Parade about her love life, her new show, and her dating advice for her son Evan.
Jenny’s thoughts on Evan dating:
“I can already tell his mannerisms and behaviors with his pretend girlfriends. He’ll be ahead of the guys because he’s very honest with his emotions and shows affection. So he’s got that covered. But he doesn’t like it when anyone is sad and disappointed and I’m afraid a girl might play that card.”
On dating Chicago Bears star Brian Urlacher:
” I haven’t made too many comments other than the fact that I’m taking baby steps. We’ll see. But I’m giddy right now.”
On how she would do as a contestant on her new show:
“I would do really well because I’m athletic and I like to win a competition. The problem, and what you will see on the show, is that the girls who were very competitive and athletic made that a priority instead of a connection. The girls that were competitive sometimes ruined the chances that they got and I would probably do the same thing. My wanting to win the competition adventures would completely implode me finding love.”
