Actor Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, Chuck) and his wife Courtney Ford (True Blood, Parenthood, and Isobel’s teaching assistant on ‘The Vampire Diaries‘..just sayin’) are expecting their first baby together!
Courtney just finished an arc on the hit show ‘Parenthood‘ and had a difficult time trying to hide it from her co-stars: “It started getting difficult to hide what was happening. Flu and food poisoning excuses only work for so long, and by the last episode I could no longer button my pants! I just tried to joke that I had a big lunch!”
Brandon is currently shooting a new show – ‘Partners’ and also had a hard time lying to his new co-workers: “It’s been so hard keeping the news to ourselves. Everyone on set keeps asking, ‘Do you have kids?’ and I’ve had to say, ‘Well … not yet!’ It’s the truth. The baby hasn’t been born yet!”
Brandon and Courtney have been married since 2007.
