She might be the biggest Pop star in the world, but when it comes to being a single mother, Madonna admits that it’s the toughest job she’s ever been faced to do.
The chart topper, who has four children – Lourdes, 15, Rocco, 12, David, six, and Mercy, five, told Britain’s The Sun paper that she sometimes feels like her “head is about to explode” when it comes to single motherhood. She says:
“I’m not going to lie — it’s hard work having four kids and doing all the work I do.”
“Sometimes I cope with it very well,” the Material Girl said. “Sometimes it’s a struggle,” she added.
She also adds that her upcoming studio album, MDNA, is about her life as a single mother and the challenges that surround it.
“It’s about the life of a single mother,” Madonna explained. “It’s a challenge juggling everything — multi-tasking is my middle name. I try to express that.”
