Jessica Alba Becomes a Mom and Entrepreneur

While actress Jessica Alba and her two daughters are afraid to pose for a professional photographer or two on occasion, that is not all that these gorgeous girls have up their sleeves.

Concerned with the high level of non-eco friendly products she was bringing into her home with her two little girls, Alba decided to create her own eco-friendly products. Partnering with friend Chris Gavigan, Alba has released a whole line of chemical-free cleaning products, diapers, and wipes under the name Honest.

In addition to just wanting to have safer households items within her own home, Alba also strove to create Honest to make eco-friendly products more readily available to parents. In the line there are all natural hair and skin care products, along with detergents and hand-soaps, and also non-toxic, chlorine-free, plant-based diapers and wipes.

“I created Honest because I was extremely frustrated trying to find safer, eco-friendly products for my family that actually worked,” stated Alba.

Not only are the items that Alba and Gavigan put together eco-friendly and adorable, but a portion of each dollar earned will go to Baby2Baby – a local Los Angeles charity group that give families supplies for the children in their families.
