As 2011 winds down and 2012 approaches, I want to kick into gear and get organized and ready for a fresh start in the New Year. I’ve tried a million different ways to get my calendar under control. I’ve attempted to go all-digital with it and that was just a disaster. I learned that I’m visual and I need to see it all laid out before me to get a better grip on it all. I’ve tried the big binder style planners, but they proved to be so clunky and heavy to lug around. Last year I went the super cheap route and bought a “planner” from the local dollar store and learned that you get what you pay for – a few pieces of paper stapled together. Hah!
This year I will get my affairs in order with the help of this slick new collection of planners and calendars from Egg Press and Blue Sky and it won’t break the bank! (and it will be MUCH prettier than my hideous dollar store ‘planner’. Available in Target stores yesterday, Egg Press and Blue Sky launched their new 2012 Planner collection. It’s a limited edition line and almost every piece is under $9.99 and all are less than $13.99!
The collection includes a wide range of sizes, colors, designs, and formats (see gallery photos below) to fit any and every need you might have: desk pads, wall calendars, tablet calendars, case-bound planners, frosted cover planners, stapled purse-sized planners, and more. The quality is remarkable, which is important to me as I’m a little rough on my planners, dragging them all over.
Some of the available designs include Bursts, Stripes, Garden, Floral Cheer, Heart Flowers, and more.
Also worth noting is that the calendar and planner pages are printed with soy-based ink on 50% PCW recycled paper.
The collection is available in Target stores now. You can peek at the items on Target’s website, but it looks like they’re only being sold in-store right now.
