Angelina Jolie Says Refugee Families Made Her A Better Mom

Last night Angelina Jolie celebrated her 10th anniversary as the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador.  She was awarded with a pin and shared with audience that she is grateful for the positive impact it has on her own life:

“I’m so grateful to the many refugee families that I have had the honour and privilege to spend the last years with. From them I’ve learned so much. I’ve learned to become a better person, a better mother.  They’ve inspired me by showing me every day the unbreakable strength of the human spirit.”

“It is an honor to work on behalf of refugees and I look forward to the next 10 years.”

Angelina has visited almost 30 countries for the UN and brought worldwide attention to the plight of many.
