The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers welcomed his third child on March 9, after his wife Tana gave birth to a baby boy they named Henry.
The couple already have two sons, Ammon (3) and 19-month-old Gunnar.
The rock star father wants to cut back on his touring to spend more time with his family.
“With touring it gets harder with each child, it’s not something you plan for or prepare yourself for, you just got to go out there and figure it out yourself.
“I love music, but I want to spend more time with my children. I’d like to be around when they start school.”
The 29-year-old star recalls witnessing the birth of his first child, talking about it triggering his paternal instincts. He explained:
“It was wonderful attending the birth. They say a man doesn’t become a father until the baby is born, whereas a woman is a mother as soon as she’s pregnant. I guess that is true.
“I was sympathetic to my wife and excited about having a baby, but it didn’t hit me until he was born. That was the greatest day of my life.”
