Pregnant actress Natalie Portman is backing a scheme to raise funds for better schooling in Kenya.
The star, who is expecting her first baby later this year (11), is teaming up with the Free The Children charity to launch their The Power of a Girl fundraising initiative to improve educational facilities for young females.
Bosses from the organization are urging supporters to set up events to raise the cash needed – and Portman has offered a special prize to reward the most successful fundraiser.
She’s donated the dress she wore to the American Film Institute’s gala premiere of Black Swan last year (10) and the charity is also offering a trip to Kenya for the lucky winner.
