Christina Milian opens up to Latina magazine about her marriage and divorce from ‘The Dream’ (aka Terius Nash). The Dream filed for divorce just days before Christina gave birth to their daughter Violet (and around the same time that photos of him at the beach with his assistant surfaced).
“I’ve been to hell and back, but I survived.
I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work,” she tells the mag. “But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”
Christina says she had no idea about the affair, but should have listened to her gut:
“I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.”
The singer, actress, and mom says she has a new outlook on life now:
“I feel brand new. I’m ready for the next phase of my life.”
