Trainer Jillian Michaels Leaving “The Biggest Loser” Show To Start A Family

TV’s “toughest trainer” Jillian Michaels is leaving the reality show that made her a household name.  Jillian announced that season 11 will be her last on “The Biggest Loser” so she can focus on starting a family.  She shared:

“I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work.”

Jillian said that spending so much time with kids during the filming of her solo reality show “Losing It With Jillian” made her realize she wanted to start a family soon.

The Biggest Loser is currently in season 10, so fans will get one more season with her before she moves on.  Jillian’s replacement will be brought in during season 11 so viewers can get a feel for her before she takes over as co-trainer with Bob Harper in season 12.

Are you shocked by the news?  Do you think it will change the show’s dynamic?

A little shocked, I guess. Right down to the left of where I’m commenting is the box with her quote about not ruining her body with pregnancy. Maybe they’re going to adopt. Either way, I’m getting a feeling this is PR for her because she alienated lots of fans, I’m sure, with the ruining the body comment.
