Sarah Jessica Parker is making herself upset thinking about being away from her children – son James Wilkie (8), and 17-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha with hubby Matthew Broderick – because her work schedule is going to be keeping her busy next year.
Parker will be working on a new movie I Don’t Know How She Does It as President and Chief Creative Officer of fashion label Halston, which will consume most of her time, keeping mommy Parker away from her children. She said:
“Even now I think about the separation and it makes my stomach hurt. I think about my son waking up on his birthday without me there, and I could die.”
Parker used a surrogate mother, who gave birth to the twins, and was surprised when she saw her babies for the first time. She recalled to the January edition of Elle magazine:
“Everything was suspended. I can’t even tell you what other sounds were in the room. I loved them immediately, but everything – their size, the shape of their heads, the color of their hair, their noses, their eyes – was new to me. They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn’t expecting.”
