Dannii Minogue thinks her career will eventually embarrass her son.
For right now, Dannii doesn’t need to worry about what her three-month-old Ethan thinks of her – but the mother is already having a bit of anxiety over her son getting older. She said:
“I think that kids think anything their parents do is embarrassing, right? He’ll probably hate everything I do. I imagine I’ll be collecting him from school and he’ll be like, ‘Can you wait a few streets away around the corner because I don’t want my friends seeing you there collecting me.’ “
Dannii’s latest “embarrassment” for her son is the release of her new autobiography ‘My Story’. Dannii is already getting attention from fans.
“There is stuff in the book that makes you kind of stop and makes your heart race. I was speaking to an author the other week, and he’s written autobiographies, and he describes the feeling well, he said, ‘It’s like leaving your diary on the bus. And you go back to get it and someone’s reading it.’
“I was walking through Harrods the other grabbing some stuff and I asked this woman where the baby changing room was and she said, ‘I’ll take you and by the way I’m reading your book.’ And it made me stop because it was the first time that this had happened. And I thought, ‘Oh my God this is it. It’s out there and people are reading it and people are going to come up to me in the street. This is it.’ “
