Filming on new comedy Grown Ups was anything but grown-up – the set was overrun by the cast’s young children, according to actress Salma Hayek.
Hayek joined American kings of comedy Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade and Chris Rock for the new comedy, which was shot in a lake house in Massachusetts.
The Frida star lived with her two-year-old daughter, Valentina, during the shoot and was delighted to see her co-stars had also brought along their kids.
Hayek tells British news show ‘GMTV’,
“In this movie, it was great because we were all about the same age and everybody brought their children and they were all about the same age. Actually, they’re all girls so we had a big girl party for the summer, day after day. It was just the perfect environment to be working in.”
