A glowing Kate Garraway, 42, left the hospital today after giving birth to her second child last night.
The GMTV presenter smiled and waved as she left hospital with her husband Derek Draper and their new 7lbs 12oz baby boy – William Garraway Draper.
GMTV said last night that mother and son were in ‘excellent health’ after the natural birth at London’s Imperial College NHS hospital.
Derek was ‘over the moon’ with the newborn and he looked delighted as he emerged with the baby carrier, which was covered with a blanket.
William joins big sister Darcey, 3, who has not been allowed to visit yet because of swine flu precautions.
The couple said, “We are in seventh heaven and keep grinning from ear to ear. Billy is so beautiful. We can’t wait to get home so that Darcey can meet her new little brother.”
Kate will return to GMTV in the fall and has already lined up a personal trainer to help her lose the baby weight.
