Trista Sutter & Husband Welcome A Daughter!

Former “Bachelorette” Trista Sutter and husband Ryan have welcomed a baby girl. Blakesley Grace was born on Friday, weighing in at 6 lbs., 2 oz and is 19 inches long.

She is the first daughter for the couple, who welcomed son, Max, in July 2007. Last December, Trista confirmed the baby news to “The news is true. We are expecting a baby girl in April and we are ecstatic!” Trista shared at the time.

And while the couple waited to find out the sex of their first child until he was born, she added that this time around, they wanted to know ahead of time. “We didn’t find out that Max was a boy until he arrived, but decided to spoil the surprise this time,” she joked.

Trista and Ryan are elated to add a baby girl to their growing family. “Although we would’ve been just as happy with a second boy, we are very much looking forward to giving Max a little sister!” Trista said.

The couple was feted with a fabulous pink baby shower in Colorado.

Trista and Ryan, a firefighter, met on ABC’s “The Bachelorette” in 2002 after Trista was the runner-up on “The Bachelor” in 2001. The couple married in a lavish TV wedding in 2003.

  2. Em says

I guess Blakesley isn’t as bad as some of the names out there, but I think it sounds weird. It’s not easy to say… I’ve heard of Blakely, which I like, but the S makes it awkward sounding. To each their own though, and at least it’s better than Jamie Oliver’s girls’ names : /

People will call her Blake, doesn’t get anymore masculine than that! Too bad because I am sure the baby is beautiful like their first.
