Jessica Alba Talks About Her Daughter

At the Keep A Child Alive 5th Annual Black Ball on Thursday all Jessica Alba could talk about was her 6-month-old daughter, Honor Marie.

“Everything is cute, everything is fun,” Jessica told People magazine, “including the explosive diarrhea – the best ever.”

Jessica said that life with Honor Marie has brought her and husband Cash Warren closer. “It brings family together. It brings friends together. It makes every decision that you make that much more important.”

The next milestone in Honor’s life: her first word. “I think she accidentally says ‘Mama’ when she’s crying,” says Alba. “But I don’t know if it is on purpose yet.”

So is Honor sleeping through the night? “It depends on what you think sleeping through the night is,” said Jessica. “She gets a few bottles a night, yes. But she doesn’t wake up and want to hang out.”

Despite being a new mom, Jessica has found time to get back in shape. “I worked out – not for hours, but I definitely had to work out. And I ate, not a lot of sweets and not a lot of cream. I kept a pretty simple organic diet, which I do now anyway.”

Jessica is clearly a very happy mom. “She’s the love of my life,” shared Jessica. “The love is profound. She gives everything more meaning.”

KATEZ- tell me about it! 🙂 I’ve had people tell me that if my first one is easy, the next one will be a little spark plug! The only hard thing sometimes is his feedings. He is VERY finicky just like I was. He is also pretty stubborn but I guess all babies are! 🙂

Both of my sons were having bottles up until a year, although by about nine months it was one. Every baby is different. My children just required that much extra. Having a baby sleep through the night at five months is lucky and you might not get so lucky next time.

A FEW bottles a night at 6 months??!! I feel sorry for Jessica. 🙂 I guess I’m lucky- my son stopped having a bottle in the middle of the night at about 5 months old.
