Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt Finds My Pregnancy "Very Sexy"

Angelina Jolie

Contrary to “reports” that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had welcomed their twins, Angelina’s rep says, “Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.”

Brad Pitt’s rep said: “It’s not true.”

She opened up in July’s Vanity Fair about being pregnant, raising an international family, their 2-year-old daughter Shiloh and how they annoy their children.

On being pregnant:
“I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”

On her international family:
“When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh — because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little — and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.”

On Shiloh’s birth:
“We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”

On nannies:
“We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher — wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Belgium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”

On raising her children:
“Artists raise their kids differently. We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.”

Melissa Joan Hart & Potty Training Awareness Month!

Melissa Joan Hart

Get ready! Sunday (June 1st) marks the beginning of Potty Training Awareness Month! In hnoor of this special month Melissa Joan Hart has teamed up with Pull-Ups training pants to keep an online diary of her experiences potty training her eldest son Mason, 2.

“I’ve been watching DVDs … and meeting with experts and trying to figure out the potty training, but it really is different for every single kid,” Melissa told People magazine at The Playroom’s First Anniversary benefiting the organization Friends of the Family on Wednesday in L.A. “You have to take what works for you and leave the rest behind.”

“When Mason first showed signs that he was ready to use the potty, my husband and I were really excited and – more than anything – proud,” Melissa, who’s married to musician Mark Wilkerson, said in a statement. “Potty training is one of the first times I’ll be able to act as a teacher to my son, and that adds a little pressure.”

Also adding pressure, she revealed to People magazine, is Mason’s need for post-potty celebration. “Normally if you do a high five with a kid, that should be enough of ‘hey, you went on the potty! High five!’ but Mason likes lots of celebration, it has to be all about him, so that’s his thing,” she said. “What works as a reward? Sticker, stamps, candy … We use Hot Wheels cars, but Hot Wheels only worked for a week and then we had to go back to candy and now we’re at stickers.”

The 32-year-old actress – who gave birth to Braydon Hart Wilkerson in March – also talked about the joys of having two boys. “Mason has been great – every time he sees the baby he’s always like, ‘Baby’s so cute,’ and has all these sweet things to say. He always wants to hold him and feed him.”

Note: Oriental Trading catalog also works well for potty-training rewarding! My son would browse through the catalog and get to pick something out for reaching potty milestones. It was very motivational for him.

Also, while supplies last, you can get a free Potty Training Success DVD by Huggies Pull-Ups here!

Zac Hanson & Wife Welcome A Son

Zac Hanson

Zac Hanson and his wife Kate welcomed a son, John Ira Shepherd Hanson, on Tuesday in Tulsa, the musician told People magazine.

The baby boy, who will go by the name Shepherd, weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 oz. “I am so overjoyed,” Zac, 22, told People magazine. “There is not an audience or concert that could ever stand up to the feeling of meeting your baby for the first time.”

New mom Kate, 24, is equally happy, saying, “Shepherd is the most wonderful gift we could ever receive. We’re already enjoying every second of this great adventure.”

Though Shepherd is only a day old, he’s already got a built-in playgroup: Cousins Ezra, 5, Penelope, 3, and River, 20 months (middle Hanson brother Taylor and his wife Natalie’s children) and Everett, 1 (eldest Hanson brother Isaac, and his wife Nikki’s son).

But Shepherd won’t be the baby of the family for long: Isaac and Nikki will welcome their second child next month.

“It will be really fun to see [the] little ones grow up together,” Zac told People magazine in November. “I know watching them is going to inspire a lot of music.”
