Hi Russ! Congrats to you and your beautiful girlfriend! I hope you actually see this. This is Denise Gaskins from your art class at NBHS back in ’86-87. I always wondered where you had gone, but I always knew you’d go far with all your creative talents! I miss the blonde, but you’re still one handsome man! Take care of yourself and your girls! You and Constance enjoy little Colette! They grow up unbelievably fast!!! My two boys are 7 and 13 now! It’s like you blink and they’re halfway grown! Congrats on the baby and your success! I wish you and Constance and your sweet, little girl much happiness! Your friend, Denise

i think Jx2 hat we will have to agree to disagree. Not about giving up babies for adoption in general just the giving up of only one twin etc.
When it comes to Eastenders … TV to slit your wrists too (IMHO). I try my very hardest to never watch it but I do have a teenage daughter.

  4. Jx2 says

Squeeky – I think you have been watching too many episodes of EastEnders on BBC….LOL
I know what your point is – the example you have given has happened many times throughout history – whether adopted or not. Siblings have married, cousins have married, etc, etc…No, I don’t approve – but this phenomenon has nothing to do with the adoption process.
What about focusing on the adopted children that have brought happiness to many childless couples – rather than saying MAYBE – one day in 20 plus years the adopted siblings might meet by chance and get married! Hogwash I say!

  5. squeekysue says

But, J2 that’s the whole point, neither of them were aware that they were adopted until after they were married. So, they meet, fell in love and got married, and then they both found out they were adopted, both searched for their bio families and THEN they found out that they were full siblings.

i have notice that someone is taking information and coping it i think its just sad.
i know i asked for help but then lots of people were starting to say that there new and stuff.
and i think that there are taking information off Kimora and Kariah’s Mommy blog like were you live. did anybody esle notice that so called Amlia has got the same address as kimora and kariahs mommy.

Obviously someone went to great lengths to publicize this “brother/ sister story because they didn’t know they were related”. This is how a tabloid newspaper is sold. There have been many instances throughout history where this has happened. This isn’t an isolated event.

  8. Jx2 says

This isn’t an isolated event. Did you ever read the novel “Middle*s*e**x?” When people know that they are adopted, it would make sense for them to do their research on who their biological parents were in order to prevent an incident like the one you are talking about from happening, prior to becoming married!
I’m entitled to my opinion and like I mentioned earlier, I am not expecting anyone to support me on it.
    Go sque*ek somewhere else!

  9. Jx2 says

Spare me Squeeky! Not interested in your story. Obviously someone went to great lengths to publicize this “brother marries sister story because they didn’t know they were related” in order to pull on the heart strings of a nation. Jx2,
Even if Amlia is a fake, (and she probably is) you have an awful nerve in suggesting that anyone could or even should give a quarter of their children up for adoption.
You can tell that you have never had children your self.
As an aside, did you hear of the UK fraternal twins who were given up for adoption and then adopted in to two families. They met again as adults, and married. Neither knowing that they were twins. Heart breaking, after each searching for their bio family, they found out they were full siblings, and ended up having to have their marriage annulled. Awful.

  12. 2teens says

Yes, did you notice the names of the posters? Katie, Jordan, Amlia (good sleuthing on Amlia, JJ). One of them even wants to name her twins Harvey & Junior. Somebody is a Katie Price fan.
Plus we have an extrordinary amount of multiple births… twin girls, twin boys, quads.
    It’s all BS.

  13. Jx2 says

No Tia I’m not kidding – It’s how I feel – I know nobody here will ever support my views but it’s okay with me! I’ve spent my whole life being socially and politically aware of the various issues in the world and cannot just sit back and let things go from bad to worse…I’m that kind of person…a protestor, an environmentalist, a vegetarian and a woman’s rights activist…I do what I can that is within my ability to create awareness!

#51 – There’s something a bit suspicious happening on this post with all the women coming forward asking for baby names and such…Someone is probably having fun with us! I don’t think that the quads belong to anybody …someone just found a picture on-line and decided to post it pretending that those were her kids…LOL!

  14. Jx2 says

Coincidence? Isn’t the name “Amlia” the name that Jordan was thinking of using for one of her tots? Hmmmm…

#47 – Would you ever consider downsizing? There are a lot of couples that are childless and would love to have a child. Perhaps you might want to consider the option of giving up one of your infants for adoption…some people will probably think that I’m out of line with this comment to Amlia but when I hear of multiple births, it just seems so gluttonous to keep all 4 infants. If I were the one that had 4 infants I would definitely give away three and only keep one…one is more than enough for me! That’s just my opinion…! I’ve been reading a lot about population explosion and the population of the world growing exponentially. The world’s resources are not enough to sustain the world population…which is why animal cloning and genetically modified foods are becoming increasingly popular…super crops that yield more output to feed the growing world. Scary reality!

#24 – I have been to Greece 7 times! I was also there the summer of the Olympic games. And, I lived and worked there for 5 years – as an English teacher. The islands are very beautiful and I have visited many of them – each one is quite distinct and lovely in its own way.
For our trip last year, my husband had tried to learn a few words in Greek but the language is quite difficult to learn since it has its own alphabet. It was his first time there and he really loved it. We plan to move there for our retirement.

  26. Generic name says

  31. Jx2 says

#13 – The name Ariadne is pronounced “Ariadni.” There’s also Ariana – which is nice.

There’s one female name that I really like which means “clouds” in ancient Greek but I’m saving that one for the dog I will adopt one day…LOL

What a precious little one you have, Jordan! Oh wow…names. I love “K” names! But seriously, what kind of names do you like? I surely don’t know what to say since I don’t know if you like traditional names, old-fashioned names, common names, unique names, artsy names, names of a specific ethnicity, contemporary names, or made up names…there’s such an assortment! Good luck though, and let us know when you choose! 🙂

  34. curlyK says

JX2 – those are nice names. How would you pronounce Ariadne? I’ve never heard or seen it before.

  35. Jx2 says

I won’t leave a comment about Jordan’s baby but i can suggest a name: How about Sofie/Sofia – which means wisdom in Greek – or how about Ariadne or Daphne?…I just love the ancient Greek names – anyway there’s my contribution to the pot !

  36. 2teens says

    Oh Jordan she’s cute!!
You’ve heard of Emily and Emma I’m sure, because they have been on the top 10 baby names list. But I LOVE the name Emmy… as in Emmy Rossum, actress & singer.

  37. squeekysue says

i guess your right theresa i wasnt trying to be nasty or anything its just that all the celebrities always have babies around 6 pounds.
i would love for this baby am having now to be about 8pounds

  40. theresa says

I was thinking more “Finally a NORMAL size baby”. It seems like all the celebrities usually have such tiny little babies – 6 pounds, 7 pounds. This sounds like a healthy baby and pregnancy to me.

  41. katie says

i love big babies am 6 months pregnant and i hope this baby is about 8 pounds 6 ounces. my first baby was 5 pounds 2 ounces.
