Ali Landry and her husband, film director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, welcomed their first child, daughter Estela.
The baby arrived just past 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and weighed 8 lbs., 2 oz.
“Mom and baby are doing great,” Ali’s rep says.
Ali, 33, a former Doritos pitchwoman, most recently appeared in Bella, written, directed and produced by her husband. The film won honors at the Toronto Film Festival.
Ali and Alejandro are “ecstatically happy,” the rep says, “and Estela couldn’t ask for more wonderful, loving parents.”
The couple, who reportedly met at Bible study, were married in April 2006 in Mexico.
