Olympic skier Jonny Moseley and wife Malia are expecting a boy in early September.

“We’re so excited,” the couple said in a statement, “and we can’t wait to start decorating the nursery once ski season ends.” (The room is currently home to Jonny’s countless pairs of skis.)

Malia, 30, says her pregnancy has been easy so far: “I feel great and the time is flying by.”

Jonny, 31, a two-time World Cup champ, won a gold medal in freestyle skiing in the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan. The former Malia Rich is his business manager.

His fame on the slopes helped land him a job as host of MTV’s Real World/Road Rules: Battle of the Sexes – as well as a spot on PEOPLE’s list of Top 50 Bachelors in 2002.

The parents-to-be began met in high school and dated for two years before getting engaged in 2003. They wed in Telluride, Colo., on March 25th, 2006.

Awww…high school sweethearts!

Best Wishes!
