Russell Crowe and his wife, Danielle Spencer, welcomed a baby boy on Thursday.
Tennyson Spencer Crowe was born at 7:27 a.m. on Friday in Australia and weighed in at 8 lbs.
Little Tennyson joins big brother, two-year-old Charles.
In March, he revealed to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that Charles was aware that a sibling was on the way. “He knows where the baby is in Mommy’s tummy and knows that he was a baby once and there’s another baby coming along,” Crowe said. “And we said, ‘Bubba, what do you want to call your brother?’ and his first option was Pumpkinhead. But then the next day, he revised it and he changed it to Stinky.”
Tennyson was named after famous English poet Alfred Lord Tennyson, who died in 1892.
“We will call him Tenny for short,” Crowe said.
“Dani was looking through books and my brothers name is Terry so that makes it TC as well, so slightly after him. But mainly because it’s just different.”
