Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight thinks it’s “wonderful” the mom of six wants more kids.
“I think that comes from my dad. My dad was a great storyteller and just had this way with kids,” Jon told Us magazine at Wednesday’s 24: Redemption premiere in NYC.
Angelina is “part of a legacy of my dad … [they both have] this idea about family,” Jon shared. “She always had this very unusual idea — and her brother’s like that, too. Her brother has this great love for protecting children.”
Now that she has the twins, Angelina “is very happy,” said Jon, with whom Angelina has said she is slowly reconciling after years of estrangement. “I saw her before the twins came, and I’ve never seen her that happy.”
Even though he has yet to see Knox and Viv, Jon said he’s already thinking of what to buy his grandchildren.
“Isn’t that a happy thing?” he said. “That’s the happiest thing to think about what kids would like, right?”
Jon said he’s “hoping” to see the kids around the holidays. “We’ll see.”
Jon also shared that he sympathizes with his daughter and Brad trying to protect their kids amid a daily barrage of paparazzi.
“They are handling it, but it’s a stress on them because they can’t do things, they can’t easily go out and do stuff. They always have to consider the barrage of some kind happening. It’s difficult. They’re just kids after all, they’re just young people.”
Awww…hopefully he’ll get to see his grandchildren for the holidays!

Brad Pitt says that life requires careful planning with six young children.
Brad told Oprah, in an interview on her show that will air on November 19th, that quick outings are things of the past.
“We don’t go to the mall,” shared Brad, 44, adding that preparing for a car trip is an adventure unto itself.
“It’s like a half-an-hour just to get everyone buckled in and make sure they’ve got their snacks, and Z.Z. [Zahara, 3] has got a blanket and Shiloh’s got her silky,” he said.
“Angie’s militant about it. She’s right on top of it. Thank God, because I’m always forgetting something.”
He also revealed 2½-year-old daughter Shiloh’s latest quirk.
“She only wants to be called John. John or Peter. So it’s a Peter Pan thing,” he said. “So we’ve got to call her John. ‘Shi, do you want …’ – ‘John. I’m John.’ And then I’ll say, ‘John, would you like some orange juice?’ And she goes, ‘No!’ So, you know, it’s just that kind of stuff that’s cute to parents, and it’s probably really obnoxious to other people.”

Angelina has admitted that she struggled with breast feeding her twins at the same time!
“It’s very hard,” Angelina confessed on Britain’s morning show GMTV. “I stopped at three months, [it was] about as much as I could do.”
Angelina, 33, who was in London promoting her film The Changeling with Brad Pitt and their four-month-old twins, Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, said she even resorted to manuals on the subject.
“There’s this football hold – it’s a lot harder than it looks in the books,” she said in the prerecorded interview at her London hotel on Monday. “I did that a few times. I would take turns. It just takes a long time.”
The mom of six also revealed that it was while filming The Changeling that she became pregnant with the twins: “We decided to start trying in the beginning, and by the end I was.”
On whether marriage is important, Angelina says emphatically “it’s not” – explaining, “we jumped into being a family first. And that just seems like the biggest commitment you can possibly make. It doesn’t feel like anything’s lacking.”

Nicole Kidman admitted she was “reeling” at Tuesday’s Sydney premiere of her new epic Australia from missing her baby daughter.
Nicole and Keith had to leave 4-month-old daughter Sunday Rose back home in Nashville.
“I had to leave her for 24 hours,” Nicole, 41, told reporters at the city’s Museum of Contemporary Art. “I haven’t done that yet, and so I’m still reeling.”
Nicole said missing the premiere was simply not an option.
“This is a once in a lifetime thing. I mean, rarely do you get to make a film that you’ve dreamt of making since you were little,” said the Australia native. “So when I was flying back with Keith we were so excited. … This is a celebration for me, and hopefully for this country.”
“In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don’t know,” she said. “I mean, I’m in a place in my life where I’ve had some great opportunities – but I may just choose to have some more children.”
Besides, she said, “There’s many things I want to do besides act.” And whatever that may be, “I’m very at peace.”
Nicole is obviously very beautiful, but she should seriously sue the doctor who botoxed her! It looks like she had a botox overdose. She would look so much MORE beautiful without it.
